It's a goodbye, not a farewell!

Dear Ahoy Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we must share some difficult news. After three incredible years of building and nurturing our community platform, we have made the difficult decision to shut down AhoyConnect. We understand the impact this may have on you, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The journey of building AhoyConnect has been a hell of a rollercoaster for us. We still believe in the importance of our mission with the power of community and data, and it is incredibly hard for us to say goodbye to something we've dedicated so much time and effort to. Unfortunately, timing and the current state of the markets have not been in our favor.

The official sunset is set for July 7th, 2023.

During this transition period, we want to assure you that we will work closely with all our customers to make the process as smooth as possible. We are committed to supporting you during this sunsetting period and will provide any necessary assistance to help you migrate your data to alternative platforms.

In the meantime, we converted all your accounts to a free version without any product limitations to ensure you get full access but won't be paying anything anymore. We would also like to recommend some great alternatives from our friends in the space. Consider exploring CommonRoom, Commsor, and Orbit, all of which offer features and functionality similar to what Ahoy used to have. We believe they can provide you with the support you need to continue fostering thriving communities.

While we cannot disclose our future plans directly at this moment, we want you to know that our decision to shut down AhoyConnect was really tough. We have chosen to embark on a new challenge, and when the time is right, we would love to share this new venture with you.

We want to express our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering support, valuable feedback, and collaboration throughout our journey. AhoyConnect would not have been the same without you. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this decision may cause, and we appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.
